The U.S. is started off the new year with good news from CoreLogic! Home values are on the rise thanks to 8.3% year-over-year increase in home prices last December!
CoreLogic explains that December homes prices have grown the most annually since May of 2006, six years ago!
From November, home prices, including distressed property sales, declined ever so slightly by 0.4%. However, when you exlude those distressed properties, home prices have risen 7.5% over December 2011!

Since our last Market Report for the first half of 2012,the 3rd Quarter-2012 has met and exceeded our expectations.  
Home Sales for 2012 have:  
1-Increased Month over the previous Month during the year, but also year over year for every Month not only vs. 2011, but most dramatically, they have increased Month over month for every year since 2009
