This is her 15th visit to Alameda and she was happily welcomed by children and adults. Queen Victoria visited the children at the Alameda Museum where the children serenaded her with “God save the Queen” and the Alameda song. Urban search training in Alameda Saturday, April 21, community emergency response team (CERT) members participated in an urban search training. As part of the continuing education for CERT graduates the CERT executive committee has developed this program in the event the Fire and Police departments requests volunteers to aid in an urban search for missing individuals.
