I am working with a buyer on a property out of state. They were supposed to close on the 5th and it is now the 14th and we just received loan documents yesterday. The buyers are a bit frustrated to say the least. They were taken back a bit on the "details" and "fine tuning" needed to get this file to loan docs. No, I'm Sorry, I Won't Show You That House! Many times I get phone calls from perspective buyers on my listings that want to take a look. And many times I tell them NO! Are You Working With An Agent? First, I ask if they are working with an agent, if they say, "yes," then I tell them to call their agent. Sometimes the buyers get angry and assume since it's my listing I should show them. However, I don't think their agent would appreciate my being the procuring cause - which means I would get the commission if I showed (5 comments)

How Clear is Your Picture? I wanted to share a quick story with you. A life story of heartbreak, determination, patience and reward. Early last year one of my first time home-buyers got into contract on a bank owned home. After a week or so into our inspection period the appraisal came in thousands below what we had offered. Hmmm.....what's abnormal about that? Not much in today's market, I know. We spent the next week or so fighting with the bank to accept the appraised value so that we could move forward and close. You may have heard that many banks including Bank of America, Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), and JPMorgan Chase have all temporarily suspended foreclosure proceedings to investigate possible problems with mortgage documentation.
