There are over 30 golf courses within twenty five miles of Franklin Tennessee. I was lucky enough yesterday to walk one of the most private golf courses in the U.S.A. Measuring over 6300 from the tips this course is a good challenge for golfers of all handicaps. Montgomery Bell State Park is a true gem and yes very private, in that we never encroached or were encroached on by other golfers. We also enjoyed the wildlife, sighting deer, turkeys and various birds singing.
