tennessee: Golf in Franklin Tennessee

There are over 30 golf courses within twenty five miles of Franklin Tennessee. I was lucky enough yesterday to walk one of the most private golf courses in the U.S.A. Measuring over 6300 from the tips this course is a good challenge for golfers of all handicaps. Montgomery Bell State Park is a true gem and yes very private, in that we never encroached or were encroached on by other golfers. We also enjoyed the wildlife, sighting deer, turkeys and various birds singing. These sights and sounds are unencumbered by traffic noise, sirens, construction or any other kind of noise except the occasional weed eater keeping the … (0 comments)
