The newly named Steel River Playhouse.... Proudly announces the season opener under the new name. Previously known as Tri County Performing Arts Center and Village Productions, the new name aptly reflects the strong steel history of the area here in Pottstown. You will see that not only the name has changed - there are many new upgrades including the newly renovated facade and the recently added snack bar. Why not come out and take in the arts right in your own back yard- no need to drive in to the city!

Pottstown Airport's Community Day was a huge success...ask any of the children that attended...and let me tell you there were plenty! What kid wouldn't be absolutely thrilled by Free Airplane rides, small planes of all designs and colors landing and taking off so often that if you'd blink you'd miss one? There was a huge military helicopter on hand that offered a walk-through and plenty of photo ops. Top the day off with Free hot dogs and drinks for all and balloons everywhere and gorgeous weather...who could go wrong? Congratulations to all that helped make this community day such … (2 comments)
