This was the last litter of puppies we were going to allow our Cocker Spaniel to have. It had been a very long night for me. Precious, our only black cocker, was having a very difficult time with the delivery of her puppies. I laid on the floor beside her large four-foot square cage, watching her every movement. Watching and waiting just in case we had to rush her to the veterinarian. After six hours the puppies started to appear. The first born was a black and white party dog. My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Doctor once a year for his checkup, and again during the year, if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing and nothing is required of him. My wife found out that our dog (a Schnauzer) could hardly hear, so she took it to the veterinarian. The vet found that the problem was hair in the dog's ears. He cleaned both ears, and the dog could then hear fine. I would like to share an experience with you all about drinking and driving.As you well know some of us have been known to have had rare brushes with the authorities on our way home from a social session over the years.
