I am into my 5th month of writing and performing Stand Up Comedy. I find it to be a refreshing change from the daily life of a Title Insurance agent. My aspiration is to become a speaker at conventions for Title, Real Estate, Mortgage, Staging and Appraisal. Although the material you'll watch (PLEASE) has nothing to do with Real Estate, I am writing material for that everyday. Helium night club is not the venue for me to perform Real Estate related bits. As an owner at Family Abstract Title, every once in a while I need a release. I have started to do stand-up comedy about 4 months ago. The video I attached is from my first contest that I entered, late last month, it was a lot of fun, with a great crowd. My ultimate goal is to continue to write and perform and work my way into the Real Estate, Mortgage and Title Seminar circuit as a guest speaker. I am re blogging this post because I really want to know if you think I'm on to something. I have been searching for a Plan B for 27 years while in the Title Insurance Business. Is Stand Up Comedy a Good Plan B for Me, YOU DECIDE. The opening bit is the same as my initial 1st time ever on stage but then it switches up.

It's the year 2067 and this buyer is STILL looking for a home! At Family Abstract, Inc, a Title Insurance Agency, we don't have to worry about the buyer os seller until the Realtor is done all the hard work. By picking up just a few typical lines from the movie "Rainman", it was fairly simple to turn this character into a typical home buyer that many Realtors must deal with.
