salt lake real estate: How to know EXACTLY when home prices have hit ROCK BOTTOM! - 04/20/08 03:40 AM

Smart investors don't wait for the graph to begin to rise.  Their goal is to get in … (10 comments)

Every week I talk to buyers who don't know loans have changed.  In many cases, people need 5-10% or more, depending on the type of property.  Many buyers don't know this!
If we show homes without asking the critical questions, we're doing ourselves AND the public a lot of disservice.  Here are some ways to ask if someone is pre-approved for a loan:
Do you have a preferred lender or loan officer/originator?What type of loan are you going to utilize for your purchase?Interest rates have been really volatile lately.  What did your lender quote you?Is your lender … (2 comments)

salt lake real estate: Take a VACATION or ROLL THE DICE on some buyers? - 04/19/08 10:42 AM
Every time I go on vacation, business improves.  I think it happens for a lot of reasons, but now I am trying to decide whether or not to cancel my 4 day beach trip to San Diego.

salt lake real estate: Brace for Impact - Salt Lake County 1st Quarter Market Trends - 04/07/08 08:48 PM
Now we've done it.
The number of listings in Salt Lake County for the 1st quarter of 2008 was the highest we've seen in the last ten years.  Generally speaking, that means LOTS of people are selling, or at least trying to sell.
Are you sitting down?
The number of sales for the same time period was at a 10 year low.  That's right, we've had the fewest number of buyers we've had in a long, long time.

salt lake real estate: Mark Your Territory and Make the Big Bucks! - 04/06/08 02:35 PM
Is it about survival of the fittest?
Not too long ago in a land not too far away, Realtors were sparse creatures. They could roam for miles without bumping into each other. They owned their territory.

So now we're … (8 comments)
