atlanta: Apple Hasn't Heard We're In A Recession - 09/11/10 10:56 AM

Had a lovely date with my husband yesterday. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory after visiting the Apple Store at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. I thought if we got to the Apple store early, we would be able to look at everything at our leisure. Wrong! The store was full of customers with people waiting in line to pay for their purchases.
They seemed to have more staff (wearing their blue Apple shirts) than most other stores in this economy,  but there still wasn't enough for the demand. I finally got someone to demonstrate the Ipad to me. I told him … (8 comments)

When I started on the challenge to do 30 posts in 30 days, I knew it would hard for me. I have trouble coming up with one post, much less 30. 
I began to look at my social media plan and realized I had profiles on several sites, but really haven't done much with them. I decided it was time to become more "social" and my first step was Active Rain.

I had the pleasure of talking to Margaret Rome from Coldwell Banker in Baltimore this evening. Sometimes you meet a person and feel like you have known them forever. Margaret is such a person. She gives freely of her time and knowlege to whomever needs it or asks for it. How special!
The market is changing in most parts of the U.S. and it helps to have someone to talk to about how to make your business better and overcome the negativity that is growing everywhere. Margaret is a bright spot in my life and I apprecate her inspiration. Thanks Margaret.

Atlanta has nearly 40,000 agents. Many are working only part-time and expect to satisfy their customer's needs. It sounds like a good idea at first, but they soon learn they are only kidding themselves. You must be available on a full-time basis to achieve your customers goals.
