December is the time for Christmas parties, and Red Rose Singles of Lancaster PA started the season out with a memorable holiday celebration on December 2! Everyone contributed to the beautifully decorated refreshment table, which was loaded with fancy iced holiday cookies, fresh fruits, veggies with dips, cheeses, casseroles, hors d'oevres, candies, nuts, and cakes. We started out with some Christmas trivia games, then had a spirited Christmas carol sing-along. Although it was generally agreed that we could not have gotten through American Idol auditions, we did indeed make a joyful noise! The mistletoe was hung by the doorway with care - in hopes that

Red Rose Singles of Lancaster held their last picnic of the year at the Manheim Township Community Park, Lancaster, PA. Someone had forged a path through the corn (No, it wasn't the locally famous "Amazing Maize Maze"!) Tom, Glenn, Dean, Amos and John... Marty, Peggy, Mary and Karen... On May 6, 2008, Caring Singles of Lancaster, PA celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary with an Open House, open to all single, divorced, separated and widowed members of the public. The event was held at the Quality Inn of Lancaster, PA, 2363 Oregon Pike. Although the festivities officially were to start at 7:30 pm, by 7:05 there was already a line at the door! Refreshments provided included coffee, sodas, sparkling grape, veggies & dip. home made cookies, brownies, and a beautiful sheet cake! Caring Singles held its annual Autumn picnic Sunday at the Manheim Township Community Park in Neffsville. For some reason, this picnic is always blessed with great weather, and this year was no exception! The temperature reached 80 degrees, but a cool breeze kept things totally comfortable.
