The stimulus package includes a revison to the credit given to first time home buyers. All of the changes are good! 1. The amount of the credit is 10% of the cost of the home with the maximum now $8000. 2. Applies to purchases of principal residence which close between January 1 and December 31 of 2009. All principal residences eligible: houses, townhouses, condos and co-ops. 3. Major change: No repayment required! The annual Hunterdon 4-H and Agricultural Fair begins Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Sunday, August 24. Weidel Realtors will have a booth at the fair and I will be there Wednesday from 3 to 6, Thursday from 1 to 3 and Saturday from 1 to 3. We will be giving out some balloons for the kids and other goodies for the adults. Our tent will have a display of some of our listings in the area. We have a perfect night to start the NJ Festival of Ballooning which runs July 25-27. The festival plans 5 launches of multiple balloons. Also, if you want a ride those are available for a fee. Held at the Solberg Airport in Readinton township, the festival also features live entertainment during the day and in the evenings. Hi all. I recently posted a blog to plug a local, Flemington, New Jersey attraction, Northlandz. I spke with a representative of the company and they encouraged me to write about them. i wrote this on Friday so that if people were planning their wekend, they would see it. Monday I found that the points for my blog had been removed. The only thing I could figure out is that I used pictures from the Northlandz web site. Hi All, The State of New Jersey has a grant program called HMFA's 1st Time Buyer Mortgage Program, aka Smart Start Grant Program. This program is designed to be used in conjunction with SMART GROWTH.
