This week we will see a dramatic drop in our national GDP for the 3rd Quarter of 2021. This will have a large effect on what the Federal Reserve looks at before they start their possible tapering of asset purchases. If it is well below the estimate below then you could see them holding off a bit longer. I sure hope they do because I still see too many signs of weakness in the economy.

As we tick towards the end of July, more and more mortgage industry professionals are leaving the industry. It is surreal to see people in the industry 20-30 years choosing to leave or being forced to leave due to the new licensing requirements. It is a great feeling to feel this breath of fresh air blow and it seems like those of us that are left are preparing for a ramp of pent up demand ready to bust out as the economy continues to improve.
