If you have to have a passing water test to close on a property with a private well here are a few things to keep in mind: Most FHA/HUD/VA water tests include tests for Nitrate, Nitrite, Lead, and Bacteria Many bacteria thrive in warm conditions so it may be necessary to be disinfect some wells in order to get them to pass Here in Southwest Florida most well water passes for Lead, Nitrate, and Nitrite...which leaves only bacteria About 25% of wells tested will fail for bacteria if the well is not disinfected regularly If you need a passing FHA or … (0 comments)
