internet: Google Understands Logo Design... and its visitors! - 12/12/06 05:13 AM
I think most would agree that logos are an important part of a business.  Take Google, for example.  I can recall when it started gaining in popularity several years ago, one of the things that attracted people to their search engine was its simplicity... a fresh, crisp, clean homepage that wasn't loaded up with ads, little flashy things, and other bells & whistles that scream "look here, look over here".  It was a plain and simple search engine that just seemed to ask the obvious... internet: Free Online Courses - HP Learning Center - 09/21/06 12:52 AM
This one is for any of you who have struggled with technology and software issues. Here is a selection of Wikipedia entries relating … (15 comments)

While reading one of the 9/11 blog posts yesterday, I came across an interesting link that made me want to find out more.  The link was to what the Google homepage looked like on 9/11/01, which showed that you could "search 1,610,476,000 web pages".  These were ALL the pages Google had indexed as of that date.
Fast-forward 5 years later to 9-11-06 and Google no longer shows the number of pages you can search.  However, just so we have a point of reference as to how much the Internet has changed over the past 5 years, I Googled the words "real estate" … (6 comments)
