One week until Safety Harbor Florida has our MeetUp for all ActiveRainers! Remember, Martin Luther King Jr. Day next Monday is the day of our MeetUp at the Whistle Stop!
We are meeting at the Whistle Stop in downtown Safety Harbor directly on Main Street next to the railroad tracks. Naturally, that is why they named it the Whistle Stop, because of those railroad tracks and perhaps the movie had something to do with it as well. It is indeed ActiveRain MeetUp time once again and this time we are meeting at The Living Room on Main Street in beautiful downtown Dunedin Florida on Wednesday, March 26 2014 at 1 pm. If the weather is wonderful, we can sit outside! Knowing our local weather, that should NOT be a problem.

Our ActiveRain MeetUp yesterday in Ozona Florida at Ozona Blue Grill was fantastic with 14 people attending! Somewhat short of the 20 that said they would be there, I want to thank those who took the time to let me know that they could not make it after-all.
It was a chance for me to let my daughter, Corinna, see how ActiveRain MeetUps work! She has one more chapter of the pre-licensing class to take before she takes the pre-licensing exam. So she will not only be a Realtor soon, but also a new member of ActiveRain.
We sat out on the deck near beautiful Lake Tarpon at the Tarpon Turtle and enjoyed a picture perfect day, meeting with old and new friends. Chris and Dick Dovorany drove all the way up from Naples to be at this MeetUp. They arrived last night in Safety Harbor and spent the night with Chris' sister, Terri Wiessner.

There was a detour on Dodecanese Blvd on the Sponge Docks since the Anclotte River was overflowing, but we managed to maneuver around it and get to our destination.
With the combination of the winds from Isaac still blowing the water toward shore, high tides and a full moon approaching, the Gulf of Mexico and the Anclotte River have decided that some of the local streets need salt water in them..............
