Located at 3150 Tampa Road, across from the Woodlands Theater, the Green Market Cafe was our destination yesterday for a late lunch. My daughter suggested the cafe and I was glad Alice and I checked it out. We had healthy salads and sandwiches for lunch. Mobbly Bayou South Support Area is located at the eastern end of Shore Drive, directly on Tampa Bay. This great park has a beach, picnic shelters and restrooms. R.E. Olds Park on Old Tampa Bay in Oldsmar Florida is a great destination for so many reasons. The park was named after Ransom E. Olds, who was the founder of Oldsmobile and REO cars. In 1913 R.E. Olds purchased 37,541 acres of land on the northern shores of Tampa Bay and named the area "R.E. Olds-on-the-Bay". The area became known as Oldsmar in 1937, when the town's name was officially changed. Back when Olds built the city, there were no bridges across Tampa Bay. Oldsmar Florida is having a breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 at Chick-Fil-A. Yes, you did hear that right, at Chick-Fil-A. I am surprised that a drive-through that serves fast food is doing this, but they are obviously in the Christmas spirit and want to please both parents and the little ones. Tickets for food includes a kids meal, photo with Santa and a goody bag to take home. Parents must purchase either a food or admission ticket for the event.
