Bloomingdale Home Prices YTDMedian home prices in Bloomingdale IL have risen slightly since the beginning of the year.  We’re currently seeing a median list price of $279,900.  The chart below is a good comparison of median list prices vs. median sales prices in Bloomingdale IL for 2016.  As you can see, home buyers and sellers have been fairly aligned.  This indicates home sellers are pricing their home at what the market will bear.

School has begun and summer is coming to an end.  This typically brings a slowdown to the local real estate market.  St Charles, however, still has home buyers and the seller inventory to meet demand.
We all know the terms "sellers market" and "buyers market".  St Charles, as a whole, is experiencing neither right now.  We're in a stable market.
Depending on where in St Charles you live, though, selling could be a little easier.
