Chicago Agent Magazine unveiled a great infographic today detailing new home sales in the Chicagoland area. Did you know Kane County ranks #2 for the most new home sales? Sales of new construction homes have remained stagnant throughout the Chicago area since 2012. There have only been two counties with substantial growth in this market since 2009, Will and Kane counties. The new construction real estate market has seen slow increases in ALL Chicagoland counties since 2012 but Will county saw a 95% increase and Kane increased 81%. Luxury Homebuyers Are Back Sales of luxury homes across the nation are on the rise. The Midwest region has seen the second largest increase with 2013 sales up 36.4% over 2012.
