In reviewing MLS listings of open houses in Central Florida over the weekend, I was appalled with the photos I was viewing.  The price of the home did not matter.  Whether they were $150,000 or over $3,000,000, presentation on the web did not reveal the home’s greatest features. I was able to identify something about every single home that lacked something or had too much of something else.  As a real estate agent, you partner with title companies, inspectors, mortgage companies, etc.  Why not partner with a professional home stager to complete your circle … (8 comments)

My family and I had a wonderful weekend.  We went to the Lake Mary Festival of the Arts on Saturday and we went out and about shopping on Sunday.  I purchased more items for our home staging business and decided to create a few more vignettes to display and photograph.

Color has been around since the beginning of time.  Color first began through pigments naturally found in minerals in the earth.  Earth colors include yellow, red, brown and green.  This is how early cave dwellers were able to paint their walls in their humble abodes.  I spoke about this in my blog Early Interiors.

There are three groups of color:  (1) warm, (2) cool, and (3) neutral or neutralized colors.  Do you know what colors each group contain and the feeling they invoke when used?  Okay, here we go.
