Still a Seller's Market in San Francisco As we kick of the fall buying season and head into the end of the quarter of 2013 we seeing continues strength in all categories for San Francicsco. Inventory levels continue to remain low. Interest rates have risen as well as have prices. Based on our local MLS recent report for single family home we are up 27.7% from same time last year, 12.1% up for condos and 15.2% up overall. These are the median sales price comparisons. Castro's New Fork Cafe big taste with a big heart for San Francisco The first time I went to Fork Cafe for dinner I took a couple of pictures thinking I should share my experience with my friends and neighbors about this place. The outside of the building had caught my eye with its stunning mural that covers the entire building 3 stories high, featuring the words "Together we can make a better world" in gold letters. They Must Be Giants. Or When Will The Torture End? Congratulations to the Giants for a tremendous series resulting in winning the National League Title and going to the World Series. It truly is a great victory and truly remarkable. For many here in San Francisco and the bay we've characterized the season one of "torture." Many trials and tribulations. Bernal Heights Home Sales Remain Strong! Sales have been steady this year. We started 2009 slow as was the case in many areas of San Francisco but as we entered the spring and summer seasons things began to pick up. Typically, there would be be a few sales in the million dollar range throughout the year. In fact, I had the last million dollar sale in 2008 when I sold 160 Manchester for $1,165,000.
