King and Snohomish County real estate sales report for January is now here. This market report only shows distressed property statistics for short sales and foreclosures. There was a 3% up swing is sales from a year ago for King and Snohomish county. I believe it's a sign that the marker is starting to stabilize.
Understand that this time last year, sales were up due to the first time buyer tax credit, but now that its gone... we can see that we're doing better than 2010 with no buyer credit.

King, Snohomish and Pierce county real estate sales up from a year ago - 2010 Home Sales Report. December's volume of pending sales around Western Washington nearly matched the total for the same month a year ago, which was the best December month since 2006.
In December 2010 a total of 3,161 single family homes and condos sold in King, Snohomish and Pierce County combined - Western Washington.  There's a 5.3 month supply of homes in King County, 4.9 months in Snohomish County and 4.9 months in Pierce County.
