Helping someone sort through years of memories - both good and bad - and decide which ones to keep and which ones to part with, is definitely not for the faint of heart! Staging homes for sale is the most emotionally challenging part of my work. As a Westchester County Interior Decorator and Designer, most of my clients hire me to help them make memories. Sometimes it all comes together-I think it's called kismet? On October 22, 2012, I moved my dad out of his co-op in Nyack, where he had lived for almost 40 years. My mother was gone in 2003, moved to an Alzheimer's facility where she died in 2007. Needless to say, my 92 year old dad has lived like a bachelor for too many years, and the condition of the apartment was proof pudding of that!
