There is nothing sexier than a man with a drill! The demolition at Chez Cohlan continues and the dust in the air feels like a sandstorm in the Sahara! Gonzalo Solano, D.L.S. Contracting (someone I trust and I've worked with on many of my design projects) and his team have made tremendous progress. The old white tile in the entry, hallways and kitchen is out and a level plywood subfloor is in and soon to be ready for a new wood floor. Yes, it is D-Day at Chez Cohlan-the kitchen is being demolished and the dumpster has arrived. We have already had an additional expense creep up-lolly columns under the living room floor where the baby grand lives and, moving the air conditioning return to a more convenient place. The fun has started and the cash register is ringing!

The Village of South Salem in the Town of Lewisboro, is a beautiful section of Westchester County. Rolling hills, lots of horse farms and charming stone walls surround many of the houses.
