Q. When should a hardwood floor be refinished? A. When the finish is starting to wear through or is completely worn off in certain areas. Also if the floor has an over abundance of scratches and gouges in it. If the sheen of the floor has become dull and lifeless, a refinish or just a recoat could be in order. This will protect the flooring investment and keep the home looking beautiful.
