According to NAR, the first step for 42% of home buyers was to look for properties on the internet. In addition 14% of home buyers looked online for more information about the home buying process. Also 92% found the internet useful in their home search. Based on these numbers why would you not want an internet presence? Consumers Think about what a consumer wants from a website. As in every industry, technology is making huge changes in the way an industry works. Real estate is no exception. Whether you are in Frisco, TX or Seattle, Washington people are using technology to buy and sell homes everyday. What is interesting to me is that it appears as if real estate consumers are believing everything they read on the internet about real estate. In fact, many will believe something on the internet more than in a face to face meeting with a realtor.
