For many people not in the real estate business, they think that an agent simply gets a listing and then collects the pot of gold at the end of the closing rainbow. Those of us in the business know differently. We think that pot of gold is hidden in a safe. In order to open up that safe you have to align many different tumblers. Whether you are the listing agent or the selling agent you have to work together to get those tumblers to work just right. According to NAR, the first step for 42% of home buyers was to look for properties on the internet. In addition 14% of home buyers looked online for more information about the home buying process. Also 92% found the internet useful in their home search. Based on these numbers why would you not want an internet presence? Consumers Think about what a consumer wants from a website. We have these huge percentages of people utilizing the internet to help them with their home search. That tells you right away what a consumer wants to do: THEY WANT TO SEARCH.
