With the many changes to our profession, I have noticed that more agents are using combination and code lockboxes. I, myself, turned in thrity-eight of the electronic lockboxes and then, replaced them with only eight. The ones that we turned in, used to freeze in the winter months and when it was a hot summer day, didn't always work. Every exchange occurs when the mls upgrades the keypads and lockboxes. Our winter, in Connecticut, like most of New England, this year, was snow, after snow, after snow. Thankfully, everyone made it through okay. It will be a memory talked about for years to come. For now, I am busy taking new photos of my listings. Now, you can actually, see the homes and the landscaping that surrounds them. Landscaping is like the frame of a picture. I was out early, to run errands, this morning. Freezing, snowing and really, windy! I wore a light jacket, because of the last week's warm weather. Surprise! Winter has returned.
Showed a few properties to my clients, and they were surprised, too. We were certainly spoiled by the few days of warmer weather that we had. Don't put away your scarves, mittens and boots! Winter has come back to remind us of the snowy, cold weather of winter.

When in doubt, I ask myself these few questions?
What are the reasons why it is not working out?
Are my clients frustrated and unhappy?
That last question, is the reason for either staying with it, or walking away. My purpose is to get that deal done, correctly, and more importantly, to make sure that my clients are okay with what is happening during this transaction.

When it's cold outside, what do you do? Simple for our lab. Run out, do what you have to do, then run back inside the house! Playing with the stick today, was not necessary. Oh, he thought about it. He stuck his nose in the snow and searched for one of his many wood sticks. If you let him, he would chase that stick, all day long. Governor M. Jodi Rell will hold a 2 PM conference call with mayors and first selectmen today to discuss the state’s storm preparations. Your neighbors and friends, should be on another database list. You can use this list to invite them to certain events that you may host that would be helpful to them.

Man! I will try to rewrite the post on another day. I am too disappointed to deal with it, right now. I had it done, was checking my spelling and grammar. Then, woosh, it was gone. I have had this happen here, when I use the Internet Explorer browser. Using that browser, also, makes it difficult to load photos on this site. I switched to Mozilla Firefox, because it has less issues with the Active Rain site. Until, tonight. It seems to take a long time for the site to load?

Isn't it amazing how your day can be changed, by a phone call? I had planned to finish decorating for the holidays, today, but, received a call, for a referral, and off I go! With multi-families, most do request the 24 hour notification. Good thing, because I was booked yesterday. If I could only split myself into two people, well, somedays, three people. Yes, I have agents, however, they are busy, too!
