What a January, this has been, so far! All but, two of my listings, are under deposit! Yes, our weather has played a positive factor on the activity. Along with low interest rates and low home prices. Everyone knows this is so good to be true! Many people are taking advantage of the low mortgage rates, because the rental properties cost so much more! Who ever thought that would happen?!

Realtors with four wheel drive or not, we are out there showing and listing homes. Did you know that a Realtor can purchase one pair of boots, a year, for a tax expense? That benefit comes in handy, in New England! Access to the homes can be tricky. Arriving before your clients, to make sure the path is ready, is a good practice. Some homes have neighbors that are taking care of the sidewalks and driveways, when the seller is not able to or has moved out. Others, well, we make a path. With all of the real estate signs that are up, you wouldn't think this would be a title that is necessary. However, my buyer clients are not finding the homes that they need with the present inventory. Many of the homes are short sales or foreclosures, with much needed work. Buyers would rather find a home, that has been cared for, updated and maintained. My current listings are selling and I will need to refill the stock on the buyer's shelves.
