This is a Shameless Plug for Aspen Tree Service and Landscaping here in Austin Texas.  This week Eddie and the crew came out and trimmed several large oak trees, removed the ball moss from many of the trees on the property, took out one maple tree and a dead oak tree.  Cleaned it up into a brush pile at our direction and left everything neat and tidy.

Fireworks is a Grand Tradition to celebrate the Independence of America, July 4th.
This year in and around Austin Texas there will be many fireworks shows and parades, most free to all.   I have read that individual neighborhoods like Shady Hollow and the Villages at Western Oaks are having parades to show their celebration of Freedom. It's time for many to start their home search, if your moveout date is April 2009, we need to start looking for your new home.
I have been posting to my blog updates since last May or so about the Onion Creek Yarrabee Bend floodplain buyout being done.   Phase 2 is here now.  This is a mandatory buyout.  It is being coordinated with the HDR Corp... they are faciliating the homeowners in selling their property and I have understood the HDR Corp also has some Realtors to help in the purchase of another property for the displaced homeowners.

Today I was going to write about planting bulbs for spring color.  But, as one of my favorite groups says, BLOGS HAPPEN, so here I am writing about searching on the internet.
I started out at Google, I mean who doesn't love Google.  You can find anything there in nano seconds and usually in such abundance it would take 5 days and nights to read it all.

 Last night Keller Williams Southwest Market Center in Austin TX had a celebration ended our yearly food bank drive.  As a group this market center collected over 27,000 pounds of food for our Capital Area Food Bank.  That amount of food will serve over 20,000 meals to hungry Central Texans.
  We as Realtors do this for the community.  We place paper bags on doorsteps with the flyer about collecting them full of food on the coming weekend.  Then we collect those bags filled with food and gather at a Community site and … (5 comments)

Football season is off and running.  Even if I dont follow the stats I know its here because everywhere I look people are dressed in Burnt Orange,  I mean Tshirt, Shorts, sweatpants, headbands, carrying umbrellas, sitting in chairs, EVERYWHERE its the Longhorn Burnt Orange.
This is not a bad thing, its one of the things that pulls Austin together, the masses the everyday everywhere everyone wearing Burnt Orange in support of the local University of Texas football team.
