buffini: Turning Point in Orlando was GREAT!

I took a day for myself last Wednesday. I packed an over-night bag and drove down on Tuesday night to attend the Buffini & Company Turning Point at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The group from my RE/MAX office had a wonderful dinner at "The Cattleman's Steakhouse". It was delicious! Brian gave us a good kick in the pants to survive in this market. It was an amazing day for me to "RECESSION PROOF MY BUSINESS". The phrase of the day was: "Recession is a terrible thing to waste." I bought his book, and he PERSONALLY signed it.

My Clubnet Coach, Lori Kennedy, gave me a great "personal note" idea and wanted to share it with you. I have been so busy (the good busy)....new buyers, active buyers, and motivated buyers....that I have fallen "behind" in my ProActive activities over the last couple of weeks. So my assignment from my coach was a BINGE SESSION on writing Personal Notes. She suggested that I go to my local post office and buy lots of "ONE CENT" stamps. My favorite thing about the holidays is BAKING!! I love to bake breads and cookies. So this year I am doing my holiday pop-by gifts with my favorite things!! Today I finished my first round of baking and am now out of supplies, so thought I would blog about my creations, before heading to the store for more "stuff". I will do another round of breads tomorrow, and then.....COOKIES!! Cookies is huge issue for me, I have made cookie-platters an art form :) Baking is a Holiday Obsession for me, and it's fun! We have all heard the old saying "Hindsight is 20/20", isn't that so very true? We have all said it to ourselves throughout our careers. Since the beginning of 2007, I have been saying it to myself quite a bit. Especially after reading these two books. Let me share my story.....
