Lake Travis stretches 65 miles upriver from western Travis County. This is the largest storage capcity of the seven reservoirs known as the Highland Lakes. The lake is used for flood control, water supply, electrical power generation and recreation. Having lived for five years in a David Weekley Home in Mueller, I can vouch that they are a decent production home builder. They seem to have long tenure in their building staff which counts for a great deal - especially in terms of consistency and reproducability. When you're buying from a production builder, knowing that they've built your house before and will do again confers some peace of mind.

That’s the upshot of a study presented in the October issue of Tierra Grande - the Journal of the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.
