There were about 20 people who joined in the Travis Audubon Society just this weekend for a bird walk in Mueller. They walked through the wildest areas of Mueller witnessing 34 different types of species including raptors, ducks, and other water fowl, songbirds, and some large waders. This event was made possible because of an open space with taller grasses and diverse habitat such as the water, grasses, trees, etc. which demonstrates the value of the prairie areas, weeds and all.
