brad andersohn: The Real Value of Active Rain... it might not be what you think! - 10/18/10 09:51 AM
My brother and I haven't written specifically for Active Rain in some time, although our other blog posts do keep appearing here.
Recently though, and this is pretty much due to our friendship with Brad Andersohn, we've been on a path, ok a quest, to best understand, identify and become involved with an effective online lead generation and lead management company.
This has been an uneasy, time consuming and sometimes difficult journey. We're not there yet, but we're close, and after agreement we're thinking about doing a series of posts about the research done on lead gen and mgmt, but that's … (30 comments)

brad andersohn: Spanky, truly this man’s best friend. - 09/21/10 11:33 AM

(Lake Tahoe Real Estate Blog / September 19, 2010 / Richard Bolen)
You will have to forgive me, but I  have been playing injured the last few days. I admit that I'm a real wuss on this one, but we just lost Spanky… and it hurts like hell.
I understand that everybody's pet is special, and the unconditional love that comes from them is dear, and important to us all. Dear Spanky fit that bill exactly. I miss him so.
We had friends visiting us during Spanky's last mile, which came quicker than we thought. Their visit was a … (1 comments)

brad andersohn: Just Who is this Active Rain Mystery Music Guy? - 09/03/08 05:54 AM
It was like we went to different schools together.

Well, we of course had no idea. We thought The GUY was coming to lake for a relaxing labor day weekend. The highlight of the trip, we thought, was to be that boat ride we give to every AR person who comes to visit.

brad andersohn: A Few Shots at Blogger Connect Sessions - 07/26/08 01:44 PM
We liked them all, but got a lot out of 3 sessions in particular. The best thing was, we think, that Linda Davis (not pictured) got a deal because of a post about her cat.

This is our Jeff Dowler, without his hat, set up for shop before it all started. This is half of the room behind him. And yes, he's ready to blog live. How cool is that?

This is Brad, everpresent, taking a picture of us taking a picture of him. It really was a whilrwind, and a rubber necking field day trying to recognize faces … (4 comments)

brad andersohn: A Few Shots at the AR Do - 07/26/08 12:40 PM
They put on a good reception for us. And it started at 9pm, which is past our bedtime (yeah, sure). There was nice finger food, beverages, and no rubber chickens that we saw.

These were the barbarians at the gate. What you saw getting out of the elevator before entering the do. That's Brad and Don Rich, of course. AR will never be the same.

These are our make over 2 take over contest winners, Brian Block and Desiree Daniels, having obviously survived getting past the two trolls at the front door. Here, they're less surprised than they were … (12 comments)
