contact managers: IXACT Contact adds two huge features! - 04/14/14 04:59 AM
With our new Lead Capture via Email, Realtors can now capture all the leads they receive via email automatically into IXACT Contact. Lead Capture via Email is a simple and versatile method for capturing leads from a wide variety of sources, including existing forms built into one's website and third party lead vendors. In addition, Realtors can set-up their lead capture process to automatically assign new leads to a specific group and auto-responder drip email campaign. They can even have all new leads automatically added to the distribution list for their monthly e-Newsletter.

contact managers: Best Practices - Adding Contacts to Your CRM - Part Three - 03/24/13 01:28 AM
Different CRMs call them different things. Category, Contact Type, Classification, Group, etc. It is a field that identifies what that person’s relationship is to you. Buyer-Past, Seller-Active, Gold Partner, Title Rep, Mortgage Processor, etc. For you to truly interact with your database in an expedient, accurate, and profitable manner, being able to categorize your contacts is at the core of what you are trying to accomplish. Your CRM should at least have the ability to add as many categories as you choose, and be able to include a contact in as many categories as you need.
Optimally there would be another … (4 comments)

contact managers: Best Practices- Adding Contacts to Your CRM - Part One - 03/24/13 01:09 AM
This first part of three is pretty basic, but may help some people. The next two parts are a little more meaty.
Adding Contacts to your CRM - Some suggestions when adding contacts. Part One of Three
If you have all your contacts on paper, start entering them according to the ideas suggested in this series. If you already have them in an electronic format, you have to import them. contact managers: What do you NOT like about Top Producer? - 10/10/12 05:11 AM
For those of you who are getting all excited to have a chance to bash Top Producer - this is NOT for that purpose. General "I hate Top Producer" comments will be deleted as quickly as they are posted.

I am looking for genuinely helpful specific … (12 comments)

contact managers: Do you send a HUD-1 Letter/E-mail to your clients? - 12/22/10 08:50 AM
This is not a new or unique idea, but if you have never heard of it, you may want to consider doing it.
Each year, at the very beginning of the year, I send an e-mail to everyone who bought or sold a home through me. That e-mail basically says "If you need a copy of your HUD-1, I'll be happy to get one to you". This is part of my closing plan drip campaign in my Trans-Plans.
It is a value added touch opportunity that is appreciated, even though it is rare that you actually need to send them the HUD-1. … (7 comments)

contact managers: Agent Office Serial #1 - 06/04/09 04:03 AM
Recently I received an order for an Agent Office upgrade, which in and of itself is nothing unusual. But this order was different. One detail one must provide when ordering the upgrade is the serial number of the software. Well I looked at this order and saw that the serial number was A000001 ! The very first one! The man's name is Bruce Hackel, and he has been using Agent Office since the very beginning! I spoke with him a little, and he first got it in 1992, and has been a happy camper for over 17 years. I'm not saying … (2 comments)
