Here is an interesting graph produced by MLSListings.com, which is the local bay area multiple listing service. What this represents is how prices have returned to their pre-mortgage meltdown, bubble bursting levels. The result of this is that many people (now having regained lost equity) are more willing to move- whether they are downsizing or moving up to a larger property, or perhaps seeking a more upscale neighborhood.
