buying or selling a home: Are you in the Middle? Well today is your day! By Gary Raze - 08/07/15 06:15 AM
Greetings!
Each year on August 12th,  National Middle Child Day is celebrated across the United States.   This day gives special recognition to the middle child/children in the family. Are you a middle child? Well then today is a day to celebrate!
It is believed, by many, that birth order plays a pivotal role in the personalities of children.  The “Middle Child Syndrome” states that the first-born is often the leader and the role-player while the youngest one is always considered the baby of the family, therefore, leaving the middle child without a special “role”.
All the best!

buying or selling a home: We all need our rest... even real estate agents... By Gary Raze - 07/15/15 10:58 AM
Greetings,

Many of you work long hours during the week. Many of you probably look forward to some extra sleep over the weekend. Even realestate brokers need their sleep. I mention this because I get calls early in the morning and wee hours of the night. But if you’re counting on those couple of extra hours to help you catch up on all the rest you need, you may be fooling yourself.
In a study conducted at Penn State University, 30 healthy men and women aged 18-34 years spent 13 nights in a sleep lab. For four nights, they slept a full eight hours; then they … (2 comments)

buying or selling a home: Summer Driving... by Gary Raze REMAX INTEGRITY- EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD - 07/15/15 10:49 AM
Greetings all,
Summer is here, and many of us are having to rent cars for travel plans. When renting or borrowing a car, there’s always that moment when you have to gas up for the first time. Which side of the car is the gas door on? Many people get out of the car to physically look at which side of the car the tank is on. Usually this happens at the gas station, and it’s always the opposite side of where you pulled up to the pump. Well, this little detail might help you:

If you look at the gas gauge on … (0 comments)

buying or selling a home: There is so much to do in beautiful Oregon! By Gary Raze - 06/26/15 03:48 AM
Greetings,
One of the reasons people love to move to Oregon is that it is so beautiful here! We have a lot of lakes and streams, waterfalls and hot springs!
You've probably heard it's wet here! And yes, we do get seasonal rain which along with snow melt feeds a tremendous number of lakes, rivers and creeks as the water rushes to the Pacific Ocean. The result is some pretty spectacular water sports.  Where to Paddle, Fish and Swim Shoot the rapids or cast out a line on the world-famous McKenzie River Float gently down the Willamette River right through Eugene-Springfield Sail … (2 comments)
