Spring is known for Spring Market home selling in real estate.  
You may not have considered the time of the year as an issue of when you sell, but you should have.  More buyers are out in the spring than any other time of the year.  The next question is why?  The answer is simple.  In northern climates the highest percentage of buyers have children, so school is a major consideration.  Buyers want to be settled before school starts in the fall.
This is a major reason for the spring market in every area of the county.

Changing Real Estate is a common statement I hear.  Real Estate is changing...OK?  Tell me what hasn't changed and I will show you something extinct!
The code of ethics for Realtor's was first written in 1913, or I should say adopted.  Real Estate changed for the better for everyone that joined the association.  What isn't commonly known by the public is those that are not members of the local real estate association are not able to use the title "Realtor®".  The title is significant but more of a legal issue than the real issue behind what it means to the public.

I have taken the time to attend many real estate specific training courses and gained valuable advanced real estate specific knowledge to help my current and future clients.
My other career, since most people don't grow up thinking they want to become Realtors, was in corporate marketing and finance.  Advanced education helped me in these endeavors too!  First as VP of marketing in consumer products companies and later as an owner and president of my own corporation.
