"OH What Fun We Had" at The Greenbrier's Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.  This holiday extravaganza  was held on December 4th at the front entrance of The Greenbrier.  As usual, the ceremony started at 6:30 PM following the annual White Sulphur Springs Christmas Parade. 

 
Last year's event was held at the North Entrance of the Greenbrier, because of the construction work being done at the Front Entrance for the new Casino.  As in last year's event, we enjoyed live musical performances, including an old-fashioned sing-a-long of classic Christmas carols; complimentary hot chocolate and warm … (13 comments)

NBA legend and West Virginia native Jerry West today unveiled the Prime 44 West private label wine selection, a Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon produced in California 's Napa Valley for The Greenbrier. The wine was selected by the West family in a blind tasting and is now featured on the Prime 44 West wine list and available for purchase at the resort.

Overlooking the Springhouse at The Greenbrier Resort atop a hill, called Alabama Row, are eight retail stores....aptly called the Art Colony Shops.  A porch stretches from one end to the other, making it easy to stop at each shop or just relax on the benches and take in the magnificent mountain views.  The view from this spot is awesome anytime of the year!
