Christmas Tree Lane Bazaar at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church
The Lewisburg United Methodist Church (LUMC) Christmas Tree Lane Bazaar is a day full of Christmas spirit and tradition!
You can find a variety of items available for purchase including chili, cashews, RADA cutlery, crafts, used Christmas decorations, baked goods, candies, jellies, jams, cookies from the cookie walk, woodwork, and the youth group's famous Rock Candy.

The Lewisburg United Methodist Church and other churches in the Lewisburg area will be walking to help fight hunger in our community and in the world on October 14, 2012.
The Crop Walk is a fundraiser to support the Lewisburg and Ronceverte Food Lockers. In addition, a significant percentage of the money raised will help alleviate hunger needs elsewhere in the US and in the world. The walk begins at 1:00 pm.
There is a short walk of one mile that is the loop around Church and Court Streets. The longer walk is 5k or 3.1 miles around … (11 comments)

The Lewisburg United Methodist Church (LUMC) is hosting “The Living Last Supper” and it is opened to the community. The Chancel Choir, musicians and a cast of Jesus and his disciples, will bring the Last Supper that Jesus shared come to life right before our eyes. Paying It Forward – Donating Shoes for Soles4Souls Every October, the Lewisburg United Methodist Church observes Children’s Sabbath, and selects a mission project that adults and children can work on together to make the world a better place. This past Sunday The Lewisburg United Methodist Church has started a shoe drive to benefit Soles4Souls collection. Doing the service, the congregation was asked to donate shoes. The shoes will be sent to an impoverished area where shoes are a luxury.

My husband, Claude, and I are avid readers and read a book or two a month. We have bookshelves full of books and so during my Spring cleaning, I boxed up a lot of our books to sale. Until I read our Lewisburg United Methodist Church bulletin and noticed a request for books....

As a child growing up in Bluewell, WV, I remember my mother getting me and my sisters and brothers ready for church on Sundays, as well as for the Wednesday night service. My mother was a founding member of Bluewell United Methodist Church (BUMC) and her family attended regularly and sat in the same pew each Sunday. My mom sang in the church choir, taught a number of children and adult classes, and was a member of the women's circle. We were faithful church members of the BUMC. The Rev. John Mendez was our pastor. We lived on a hill in Bluewell, WV, and could see the church from our house.
