Local Furniture Maker donates to GVT’s Art Auction
Sculptural furniture maker, John Williams has donated a beautiful handcrafted bar chair made of rich maple for Greenbrier Valley Theatre’s (GVT) 20th Annual Art Auction.
The 42 inch chair is suitable for a kitchen counter of 36 inches. Williams has been making furniture for over 30 years and has been featured in collections and museums across the country.
Williams’ piece is listed online at www.biddingforgood.com/gvtheatre, and will be featured in GVT’s Live Art Auction July 12, 2014.

It's Over, Now for Some Relaxation!
My home was on the Lewisburg Home and Garden Tour this year. I'm glad it's over and I can now relax. For two months we worked on projects to get our home ready for the tour. I can happily state that our home projects were all completed in time for the tour on Saturday, May 14th.

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, socializing and enjoying some fantastic food, as well as superb entertainment. The Greenbrier Valley Theatre's Fourth Annual Ladies Luncheon was hosted by the Cooper Gallery on Sunday, June 8, at 1:00 p.m.
It was a fun and exciting afternoon for attendees. The "Lucheon at Tiffany's" was catered by B. Sweet Confectionery, and was delicious. Besides champagne drinks, we enjoyed Vichyssoise, poached salmon salad nicoise, and Tiffany chocolate cake.
