Wednesday my husband, Larry and I headed for Camas WA to pick up a Jeep Rubicon (he actually bought on e-bay). Knowing that my dear ActiveRain friend, Debb Janes lives there, I called her the day before to see about an impromptu "Meet Up". These are always so special to share on ActiveRain because of the scads of relationships that have developed across the country (and maybe the world) thanks to this platform.

Fishhawk Lake-MeetUp! What FUN! Tuesday, 8.12.14 Yesterday morning started with a horrific thunderstorm and 171 strikes of lightning and a power outtage all in the Birkenfeld area (my home at Fishhawk Lake). But, do you think that deterred me from heading to Camas, WA about an hour and a half away for our MeetUp of ActiveRain folk? NO WAY! I was only about 10 minutes late and beyond excited to be there.
