gayle rich boxman photography: Friday's Fotos-From Lizards to Ladybugs

Friday's Fotos-From Lizards to Ladybugs A sun-filled day in mid-April brings out some spring beings during a brief respite from rain-drenched days in Birkenfeld Oregon! If you didn't know any better, you'd think this was some southern vista in the West, not the coastal range of Oregon! Lounging on a golden-hued rock beside our garage, this fella was basking in the hot warmth of a dry spot.
Clear on the other side of nature's spectrum, a ladybug was enjoying meandering through dried moss in my folly! Keep a look out, with camera-in-hand for those moments that present themselves when you least expect it! Come visit Birkenfeld Oregon (20 comments)
gayle rich boxman photography: Serendipity Sundays Keep On Truckin'!

While trucking through the woods, years ago, I came upon this old jalopy. As the years have gone by since, I happened upon it again while taking a different route with my dogs. There's something about this crusty ole broken down bit of metal that pulls at my heart. One can imagine the stories it has to tell, having lived in the woods for God Knows how many years. It used to be of service, with hosing on the back. Probably to put out fires. It's had a series of personalities with each layer of bright colors slapped on top of one (33 comments)
gayle rich boxman photography: Fishhawk Lake--This Week in Pictures
- 11/04/16 10:52 AM
One of the sparks of this week was my new listing at 71898 Northshore Drive, Birkenfeld OR 97016. A contemporary home, located in a quiet and secluded part of Fishhawk Lake, with one of its boundaries on the all-year Boxler Creek, known for salmon spawning. A photo of the listing, but there was more! There was the resident kitty who begged to have her photo taken. She sat atop some travel cases. Look into her eyes and repeat after her: You will buy this home. You will buy this home. As the week went on, I walked this area with my dogs and did some creative photography (17 comments)
Friday's Fotos--I ran home to get my camera for this!
I was at a home inspection (for my buyers) who couldn't be there on Fishhawk Creek and I stepped out for a bit of crisp September air. I saw this and berated myself for not having my camera. My favorite home inspector, Dave McLean said, "Well go home and get it! It's not like you live so far away!" So I did. (I'm just a mile down the road, with Fishhawk Creek as my boundary also).
This view of tranqullity is just one of several that my new buyers will enjoy on Fishhawk Creek. Below, the colors (26 comments)

Americana Series-Old Car In Astoria Oregon While showing my dear NYC galpal, Joanna Cohlan Astoria Oregon for the day, I happened upon this delight of history. Too great to pass up, so she went about her shopping while I snapped a few quick photos. Astoria has lots of history and has been a locaton for shooting several movies, Goonies being the most famous. Kindergarten Cop and Stand By Me were two others.

Friday's Fotos--"Morning Glory" Fishhawk Lake April 8 2016 Any time of year is "beautimous" (my word) on Fishhawk Lake with each season, but April brings about a dash of greenery, sunny morns, and puts a little joy in your step because you feel a bit more ALIVE! I took this one about 7am this morning. Ahh, spring, bring it on!
