love: Valentines Day

I truly guess I have to apologize upfront but here goes. "I'm sorry that I don't buy into Valentines Day". I've been married to my wonderful husband for over 32 years. I've known him for 44 years - since high school. I'm a romantic at heart, love movies like "While You Were Sleeping", "The Notebook", "Thornbirds", and a few others, but Valentine's Day - get real. My husband is so good. He buys me flowers, cards, tools, you know, the common gifts. This year I finally said, "Please don't buy me a card, don't send me flowers". Is that tacky? I … (4 comments)
