Date Night proved to be a great success? Excuse me? That is, ‘Date Night’ the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce style! SO many stores stayed open until 8 p..m, so they could attract more buyers, attract more interest, develop more relationships and ultimately more sales, and all because of Carolyn Fugere, the President of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce (and also the Manager of the Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s Larchmont Office..

Wallach Jewely Designs has been a family owned business and tradition for the past 99 years, starting out in the Bowery, moving to the Diamond District on 47th street in the 50’s, to Eastchester for 40 years (Many people knew Steve’s Dad from those years and that’s where Steve worked when he joined the family business), and finally moving to Larchmont 18 years ago. The Larchmont Chamber of Commerce meets once a month, but there are always many conversations and meetings in between to help ensure Larchmont be seen as the vibrant village it is! Carolyn Fugere as the President of the Chamber of Commerce works tirelessly along with her Board Members to create ways in which to help the many stores and restaurants in the area. If you haven’t been to Polpettina’s in Larchmont, then you must! Fresh, delicious, unique, pizzas, salads, and entrees galore. Polpettina’s also has a heart, and kindly allowed the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce to host its’ March meeting at the restaurant from 8-9 am this morning. While I had only recently joined the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce (January 2015), I realized immediately that this was an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring group of professionals (store owners, Realtors, local Businesses) headed by Carolyn Fugere, the President, who meet each month and strive to make Larchmont even better.

I had the greatest pleasure meeting Vonnie Sullivan, the owner of the the Village Mercantile, located at 28 Chatsworth Avenue, Larchmont, New York 10538 at a recent Chamber of Commerce Meeting. I thought I would pop by Vonnie’s store, take some photos, and see firsthand what her store has to offer. Firstly, the store is conveniently located close to the Chatsworth Elementary School (so perfect for those last minute gifts), and is also just minutes away from the train station and village (again great for gifts before jumping on the train or meeting friends for that celebratory dinner.

It was both a great idea, and a wonderful event! Where? Tequila Sunrise located at 145 Larchmont Avenue (914-834-6378914-834-6378). The event? A Speed Networking Event as suggested by Theresa Viti-Finck of TD Bank . With Valentine’s Day around the corner , it just seemed the perfect way to celebrate a cold and wintry Thursday evening, and yet have fun. Carolyn Fugere, President of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce (and also Manager of the Julia B. It was no hardship visiting the Flower Bar this past week. There was a happy and energetic air to this wonderful floral oasis located at 11 Addison Street, Larchmont, N.Y. 10538 (914) 834-4900. I met with Nancy White, the President and owner of The Flower Bar, and she shared some wonderful statistics and facts about her store, and the floral world.
