I want to take a moment to say to all. If your holidays are taking you traveling this year, I wish you safe travels, short security lines at the airport, and on-time flights... I hope you get no coal in your stocking... I hope you enjoy your time with friends, family, or whoever your holidays are meant to be spent with... Ever wonder what happens when mail gets "lost"? I know it happens pretty rarely, considering the sheer volume of mail that the U.S. Post Office (not to mention FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) handle, especially during the holidays! (From the long lines in my local post office, I could definitely say that it's A LOT of mail!) Well, it may finally reach its destination - it just might be a little late! Dear Friends, Colleagues and Clients: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support over the past 15 months when my brother, SGT Kevin Carey, a resident of Forsyth County, Georgia, (pictured below), has been deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne. Today, Wednesday 17, 2007, he left Iraq and will be home by next week. The Bert Show on Atlanta radio station Q100 is trying to coordinate getting letters of thanks into the hands of every service man and woman who will be stationed overseas this Thanksgiving. They need about 500,000 letters! The guidelines are posted on the website, which you can access by clicking here. The due date is October 26. As of now, they are still trying to coordinate an address to send the letters to if you aren't in Atlanta and can't drop them off at one of the locations.
