Market Update for St. Ives Country Club - 2008 Year-End Report(per FMLS and office records, as of February 3, 2009) For 2008 (from 1/1/08 - 12/31/08), there were 32 total sales in St. Ives Country Club (per FMLS and office records). The lowest sale was $415,000 (foreclosure) and the highest sale was $1,330,000. Six sales were listed as foreclosures or pre-foreclsoures/short sales.

According to Relocation.com's survey of relocation trends for 2008, Atlanta is still a top pick for relocation. Las Vegas ranked at the top of the list, despite plunging housing values: "Las Vegas was followed in popularity by Denver, Charlotte, N.C., Phoenix/Mesa, Portland, Ore., Seattle, Orlando, Fla., Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg. REALTOR® Magazine Online reports that Atlanta has been named one of the Top Ten Best Places to Retire ona Budget. The study, which was conducted by Forbes magazine, considered "affordability, inflationary pressures, and job prospects for the 20 percent of those older than 65 who are still employed." If you're like me, the sheer volume of candidates, issues, amendments, etc. that appear on a ballot can be overwhelming. Yes, the Presidential election tends to take center stage, but that's not the only thing on the ballot - wouldn't it be so much easier if it was! Georgia Voters, you can access a complete ballot - accurate for your specific districts - through the Atlanta Journal Constitution's website. According to REALTOR® Magazine Online, Atlanta has made it into the Top Ten list of the fastest-selling zips codes. The study was conducted by Altos Research, which conducts real estate data from all over the country. #1 on the list - Sunnyvale, California, with an average of 66 days on the market. Atlanta, Georgia 30340, slipped in at number 10, with an average of 91 days on the market. According to FMLS (our Multiple Listing Service), from 1/1/08 through 10/27/08, the 30340 zip code has had an average list price of $213,805 and an average sale price of $207,160.
