I received an interesting email this afternoon from Robert L. "Robb" Pitts, Commissioner, District 2-At Large, Fulton County Board of Commissioners: Dear Fulton County residents and business owners: You have been asked to conserve water, which you have done. Regrettably, this decrease in water usage also caused a reduction in Fulton County's revenue. Based on projected water sales, Fulton County will be unable to produce the net revenues needed to cover the required 2008 bond debt service. With all the rain we've had lately in the Atlanta area, surely our watering restrictions have been lifted, right? Wrong. North Fulton County's watering restrictions, which includes the City of Johns Creek, are even tougher than the state's, according to Department of Public Works Director Angela Parker. Despite the rainy days we've had in March and April, we're still technically experiencing low water levels, as we try to make up for last year's drought conditions.
