According to the most recent Loudoun real estate sales statistics released by MRIS our MLS on January 10, 2009 for December Loudoun real estate sales, homes in Leesburg VA and homes in Sterling VA tied for first place. Each sold 125 homes in Sterling Virginia and homes in Leesburg VA December for Loudoun county single family detached homes sold. Some of the appeal of homes in Sterling VA is the prime location, it is very close in Loudoun County VA and abuts Fairfax county. Sales of homes in Loudoun VA saw an increase of 6.17% in compared to same period in December 2008. The average sales price of Loudoun VA homes sold has moved higher by 10.82%. This tells us that the Loudoun VA Real Estate Market may have hit bottom and is now correcting and moving higher. We will still have to wait and see the trends in the next few months. Fairfax VA Home Sales Report - December 2009 Sales The latest Fairfax County VA homessales statistics for MRIS* (our MLS service) have just been released on January 10, 2010 for December 2009 home sales in Fairfax VA. There are some very interesting trends. First, there were 1000 homes sold in Fairfax County VA in December 2009. That is down slightly from December 2008 when we saw 1150 Fairfax County VA homes sold or a 13.04% drop in sales December to December.
