Are You Really Buying a Home? No wiser words have ever been said that applies to real estate and buying a home as "To thine own self be true!" As a veteran in real estate it never ceases to amaze me that although a home buyer thinks they have an idea of what their needs are, they can sure fool me. They always seem to want the "Best schools" in the nicest neighborhood, the shortest commute, and they always need so many bedrooms, an office, a fenced yard for the dog, and a small area they can garden or enjoy BBQ's.
