Sales of homes in Fairfax VA saw a modest increase of .46% in price compared to same period in October 2008. The average sales price in Fairfax County VA is now $140,339. Our MLS (MRIS) has just released October 2008 home sales stats for the MRIS coverage area on November 10, 2008. Because of its proximity to DC for commute, WMATA...in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC in Montgomery County, Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick County, Howard County, Saint Marys, and Charles County. Montgomery County with its quick access into DC led the pack with the highest amount of home sales. The high price of Herndon homes sold was and estate home not in a subdivision in Herndon Virginia for $1,295,000, and the low price for sale in Loudoun was a condo in Jefferson Mews which sold for $200,000.
